Private yoga is very individualized. In my sessions, I utilize the power, holistic system of Chinese Medicine and Meridian Yoga. Techniques can include yoga asana, pranayama, acupressure, cupping, guasha and/or moxa. We use the physical body and breath to bring recognition and change to the emotions and mind.
Through this lens, we look into the body using the therapeutic postures and practices of hatha yoga, as well as hands on healing techniques to see the body, mind and emotions as whole. Through the meridian system of Chinese medicine, we can go deeper into the yogic practice. Becoming increasingly more aware of patterns of pain/tension, emotions and thoughts/beliefs can have a profound effect on our way of being in the world and, more intimately, how we feel in our own body.
